Statement of Inclusion

 

Kappa Alpha Theta Beta Lambda is committed to ensuring that every person who walks through our door feels welcome. Accordingly, we have adopted the following policy of inclusion:

 

We, the members of Kappa Alpha Theta Beta Lambda, believe that diversity and inclusion are fundamental elements of our fraternity’s mission to promote solidarity and leadership among women. We reaffirm our commitment to fostering a welcoming and receptive environment for potential new members from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We believe that there is no single way to define the experience of being a woman. As such, we welcome all humans who identify as female, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, physical abilities, socioeconomic status, sex, and sexual orientation. Furthermore, we commit to supporting the needs of a diverse group of young women, which begins with respect and acceptance. Though individually different, we seek to find strength in our solidarity and embrace each other’s unique perspectives. We, the members of Kappa Alpha Theta Beta Lambda, declare our unending dedication to promote a broad view of what it means to be a Greek woman.
