​FORMALS​

There are three formals held during the school year: New Member Formal, Semi-Formal, and Spring Formal.

New Member Formal celebrates our newly inducted pledge class. Each new member gets to bring three dates and it's a great way to start off the year! This event is really fun and helps us truly welcome our newest sisters to Theta!



Semi-Formal is around mid-February and each sister brings one date! It's a bit more casual than Pledge and Spring formals, but it's still a fantastic time! It definitely brightens up campus when winter is really hitting hard!

Spring Formal is in April and it celebrates the seniors of Theta who will be graduating the next month. Seniors get three dates each, and are clad in gorgeous black dresses! We lovingly say goodbye to our wonderful seniors, while making sure they leave with a bang at a great formal!

​MIXERS & DATE PARTIES 

We have a mixer or two almost every weekend! Mixers are held at third party vendors - usually The Crust, College Delly, or Paul's Deli. We usually have a food tab that we share with one of the many social fraternities or varsity sports teams on campus! Each mixer is with a different group and they all have exciting themes - like decades, high school stereotypes, all denim, or holiday... the list goes on!



Date functions are also held at third party vendors, but the majority of, or the entire venue, will be reserved for us and there will be lots of food! These also have themes but they are usually slightly fancier than mixers. Sisters and their dates go all out! Some past themes have been dynamic duos, dress to impress, and dress as halves of a compound word!
